We presented 'Rooted'as a part of <Limbo of Image> exhibition by MEESEEK from November 24th to December 3rd. MEESEEK introduced designers who are exploring characteristic works at the LIMBUS between art and design, as well as sculpture and furniture.

We aim to extract the intrinsic characteristics of marble in this project. While marble is a natural material originating from nature, industrial processing tends to diminish its original wildness and vitality. We highlight this process where the natural essence and life force of marble become faint due to industrial refinement. We visualize wildness by connecting marble plates to create a massive entity, and link it with natural fiber, symbolizing a sprouting seed. Through this approach, we intend to rejuvenate the innate strength and dynamism that marble originally possesses.
